To replace the battery of the remote for the Volkswagen Golf 7, press the button located at the top of the remote to lift the key blade. Once lifted, you can pry inside its housing to detach the cover from the back of the remote. After removing this, you can take out the battery from its compartment located underneath. The new battery can then be installed, and you can close the remote by inserting the appropriate cover.
