To remove the rear glass on a Volkswagen Golf, open the car door and loosen the screws securing the door panel. By unfastening its clips and disconnecting the connectors, you can remove the door panel and unscrew the screws that secure the inner panel. This will allow you to lower the rear glass and remove the seals around it so that it can be taken out of its housing. The new glass should then be inserted along with the seals and the panel.
