How to Remove the Engine Oil Filter on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009
Part: Oil filter

Before starting, open the front bonnet of your Volkswagen Polo. Begin by unscrewing and removing the top cap from where the engine oil is added. Next, lift the front of your vehicle. This will give you access to the lower drain nut and the oil filter. Proceed by unscrewing and removing the lower nut, allowing all the engine oil to drain out. Once the engine oil has completely drained, you can unscrew and remove the oil filter. After completing this step, you will have finished the removal and can install the new filter.
