How to remove the engine oil filter on Volkswagen Polo? Let's see in this video guide how to proceed with the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then, with a socket wrench, unscrew the large locking pin of the container cap where the oil filter is located. We extract the worn oil filter and place a new one, making it adhere well around the walls of the box. Finally we reassemble the soundproofing panel. We close the front hood finally.
