Replacement of the Suspension Arm

Model: Volkswagen Jetta A4, MK 4 - Years 1998-2005

The suspension arm connects the chassis to the struts. Wear can lead to a loss of vehicle control. Replacing it is not a complicated task, but it must be done correctly and safely. To begin, lift the car off the ground. Use the appropriate spanner to undo the bolts and remove the wheel from the hub. Next, detach the stabiliser link from the arm and extract it without breaking it. The final step is to remove the suspension joint, using the spanner for assistance. Once the joint is removed, you can proceed to extract the suspension arm.
