Replacing the Battery of the Volkswagen Passat Remote Key

This guide shows how to disassemble and replace the battery of the remote key for the Volkswagen Passat in simple and quick steps. First, take your remote control and start by removing the physical key from inside it; then pry at the sides of the cover to remove it, as illustrated in the video. Now, remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it correctly in place, in the right direction. Now you can reassemble the cover of the remote!
