In today's video, we will see how to replace the key battery of a Volkswagen Passat, model B7, produced from 2010 to 2014. Let's start the procedure by extracting the physical emergency key from its slot by pressing the appropriate release button, then we will remove the upper cover of the key as shown in the video. Once this is done, we will pry off the back cover of the remote to remove it, then we will extract the old key battery and replace it with a new one, finally we will close everything by following the reverse procedure. The required battery is the CR2032.
