Replacing the Key Battery on the Volkswagen Passat B6

Today we will see the procedure for disassembling and replacing the battery in the remote key for the Volkswagen Passat B6. First, take your remote and start by removing the physical key from inside it by pressing the side button; then leverage the side slot to detach and remove the cover, accessing the battery as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type; insert it the right way round and reassemble the remote!
