How to Replace the Gear Knob on the Volkswagen Golf 6?

To replace the gear knob on the Volkswagen Golf 6, lift the lower part of the leather trim at the base of the gear lever. Once the leather cover is fully lifted, remove the clip that secures it to the knob, allowing you to extract both pieces. Once the old knob and the corresponding leather gaiter have been removed, you can install the new replacement parts. The new knob must be connected to its internal clip, and the leather cover must be secured in its housing with the appropriate retaining clips.
