Removing and Replacing Engine Oil Filter

This video shows step by step how to remove and replace the engine oil and its filter. First, it is advisable to perform this task with the car semi-warm to allow as much oil as possible to drain from the sump. Once you have unscrewed the sump plug and drained the used oil into a container, unscrew and replace the oil filter. When installing the new filter, remember not to tighten it too much and to moisten the seal with a drop of oil. Finally, pour the necessary amount of oil through the oil filler cap in the engine bay to reach the correct level.
