You don't need too many tools to replace the right outside mirror glass on your Golf 5. First open the mirror and once this is done you need a plastic car trim tool for removing the glass. Insert the tool between the glass mirror and the external cover and very gently unhook the mirror from the three attachments. Detach the mirror heating connectors and treat them with a silicone grease product. Dry the contacts thoroughly and hang up the electric wires. At the end of the operation you can hang up the mirror being careful to hook the clips into the mirror supports.
