In this video, we will see how to remove and replace the external wing mirror of the fifth series Volkswagen Golf in simple steps. First, open the front door and start by unscrewing the fixing screws located on the door panel, under the plastic covers and on the sides of the panel; use a Torx screwdriver as shown in the video. Once the door panel is removed, unscrew the screws located behind the wing mirror using a Torx spanner; then simply slide out and replace the mirror from the outside!
