Replacing the Radiator Coolant Reservoir on the Volkswagen Golf 4 GTI

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

In today's tutorial, you will learn how to replace the coolant reservoir on the fourth generation Volkswagen Golf GTI. First, open the bonnet and start by unscrewing the cap of the reservoir; then remove all the hoses connected to it by loosening the metal clips. At this point, lift the vehicle and drain the coolant by opening the appropriate valve; then disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor, thus removing the reservoir. Finally, replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
