How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Passat

If you have replaced the engine oil and filter on this model, follow the steps outlined below to reset and update the service light on the instrument cluster. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Press the menu scroll button on the left stalk multiple times until you reach the "setup" option. Select the Service option, then press and confirm with the reset button.
