Cleaning the engine air filter is absolutely essential for the proper functioning of the engine, ensuring the right amount of air is supplied, but especially its cleanliness: the filter can trap solid particles that, if ingested, could damage the engine. The filter housing is located at the top of the engine: simply unscrew the fastening screws of the cover, remove the old filter, clean any dirt residue inside the housing, and insert the new one ensuring the gasket adheres correctly. In addition to replacement, it is also good practice to dust the filter occasionally.
