Let's see how to change the cabin air filter (also known as the pollen filter) on the Volkswagen Ameo. The filter is located in a compartment behind the glove box, which will need to be emptied and partially disassembled. You will need to remove the side clip that holds it in place, allowing it to drop down and reveal the compartment where the filter is housed. It opens with a light press, after which you can simply pull out the dirty filter, clean the compartment well before inserting the new one, place the clean filter in - remember to position the arrows on the new filter upwards, otherwise the filter won't do its job - and close it up. The video suggests cleaning the air vents as well, which is very sensible.
