As a first step, start by putting the gear in neutral and applying the handbrake. Open the bonnet and remove the fuse box cover, the air filter and even the battery for full access and working vision. Press the swingarm / motor selector downwards and in the meantime turn the black plastic lever on the side clockwise, this is necessary to keep the swingarm in the low position. Now you can lift the car with the jack to be able to unscrew the engine cover panel by unscrewing the torx present. The engine oil pan and the gearbox oil pan will now be visible. Using a size 17 Allen wrench, first unscrew the filler cap (yellow) and then the drain plug (green), place a large basin to collect the oil. Once emptied, screw everything back on and release the swingarm movement using the lever. Detach the pin of the oil sensor and then remove the sensor by unscrewing it and remove the black cap which is interlocking to ensure that when the new oil is inserted, the duct is not "drowned". Finally insert a tube in the sensor hole and insert the new oil, once all the oil has been inserted, screw everything in.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
