In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the seat belts in the Volkswagen New Beetle, a very simple operation. First, tilt the front seat you will be working on, then unclip the pillar trim and, using a 17mm spanner, unscrew the fixing bolt of the upper support. Once done, remove the pretensioner from the bracket below, install the replacement ensuring the connector is securely attached, and fix the upper support. Once finished, test the belt by pulling it quickly forward and ensuring it locks correctly.
