How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

In this tutorial, you will see how to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat 3BG, a very simple and quick operation, to be performed only after completing all required maintenance tasks. To proceed with the reset, insert the key, press and hold the button located under the speedometer, and simultaneously switch on the instrument cluster. At this point, release the pressure and turn the button on the left, just below the rev counter, clockwise. Once this is done, you can verify that the procedure was successful by restarting the instrument cluster.
