How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Up

Model: Volkswagen Up MK 1 - Years 2011-2024

Open the door and access the vehicle, close all doors, locate the button on the dashboard, bottom right of the speedometer: "0.0 SET". Press and hold the "0.0 SET" button while simultaneously turning the key to switch on the ignition (do not start the engine), continue holding the button for 3 seconds, then release the button for at least one second and press it again for another second. Finally, release the button and the indication: "insp" will turn off. Turn the key and switch off the ignition. Then, turn the ignition back on to verify that the light has been successfully deactivated.
