Follow these steps to install the centre armrest on your Volkswagen Up: you can find this part on eBay for £49.99 with free shipping. First, remove the plastic cover of the handbrake. Simply take out the screw inside that holds it in place. Replace it with the metal base of the armrest, which will align perfectly with the existing holes. Tighten the screws. Insert the support into the bottom of the metal base. You will need to shape the previous console to refit it, as the metal support takes up some space, and also prepare it for the screws that will pass through for the armrest placement. Now, refit the armrest cover, which screws into the console, and the job is complete.
