How to Replace the Wiper Motor on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the wiper motor on a Volkswagen Polo, loosen the central nuts that secure the wiper arms so they can be removed. After removing the wiper arms, it will be necessary to loosen the bolts securing the grille at the base of the windscreen, and then detach the rivets to remove the additional panel underneath. You will now have access to the wiper motor, which should be removed from its housing by loosening the bolts that secure it to its supports and disconnecting the power cables. After replacement, insert the new motor and reassemble all previously removed components.
