The noise of the alternator pulley is a fairly recurring defect: it is in any case possible to replace only the pulley, which is also easily available in the after market (take note of the code shown on the pulley cap); to be able to disassemble it, it is necessary to free the pulley from the auxiliary belt: remove the plastic cover on the engine, remove the right front wheel, the protective cover under the engine compartment and the wheel arch; once you have reached the auxiliary belt tensioner, loosen it and free the pulleys; then remove the fixing pins of the fuel filter and move it without disconnecting the pipes in order to reach the alternator pulley; then remove the cap and use the special key to disassemble the pulley and install the new one; then proceed backwards to reposition the fuel filter, the auxiliary belt and the various covers.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
