In order to access the alternator it is first necessary to remove the throttle body which is located in the front left part of the engine (looking at it from the front): then unhook the sleeves connected to it and unscrew the fixing pins; once the throttle body has been removed, the alternator is immediately visible. Then loosen the tensioner (locking it with a pin) and unhook the auxiliary belt from the alternator pulley; then disassemble the tensioner itself and finally the alternator which can be replaced with a regenerated one: during this operation it is preferable to disconnect the battery.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
