Replacing the External Wing Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

Replacing the external wing mirror is very easy as it simply clips onto the support via plastic tabs. Be careful with the wiring for the demisting system; finding a new mirror is also straightforward as they are available in the aftermarket. Bring the new mirror close to its housing, connect the demisting system wires (the direction does not matter as it powers a resistor with no polarity), and clip the tabs into the support.
