Replacing the timing belt on this vehicle and on all cars is quite complex. Below are the main operations to carry out, along with the video tutorial. Open the bonnet and lift the vehicle, remove the front right wheel and take off the inner wing panel. Disconnect the suspension assembly, then at the top of the engine, remove the air filter box and the battery. Take off the upper timing belt cover, remove the mounting bolts of the engine mount, then take off the auxiliary belt. Next, secure the relative position of the camshaft gear and the crankshaft gear by inserting pins into the designated holes to avoid losing the engine timing during the timing belt removal. Then, remove the pulley from the crankshaft and loosen the timing belt by adjusting the tensioner. This will allow you to slide off the timing belt.
