To replace the side light bulb on a Volkswagen Golf 4, remove the side light unit from its housing by pulling it out from inside the car. This allows you to connect the new bulb to its connector and then reinsert it back into the light unit. Finally, ensure the light unit is securely fitted back into its place, checking that everything functions correctly.
