It is not sufficient to just put water in the windscreen washer reservoir, as it does not guarantee perfect cleaning and, more importantly, there is a risk of it freezing during the winter season. Many suggest adding dish soap, alcohol, or even glass cleaner to the water; however, there are many commercially available products specifically designed for this purpose that not only ensure a perfect cleaning effect without streaks but also keep the fluid effective in cold conditions. You can choose between ready-to-use products or concentrated solutions to dilute in water.
