Where are the fuses in the Volkswagen Polo 5?

In the Volkswagen Polo 5, produced between 2009 and 2017, the fuses are distributed between the passenger compartment and the engine bay. However, they are not scattered but collected within two fuse boxes, the layout of which is shown both in this video and in the owner's manual for the Volkswagen Polo 5, as well as on the inside of the fuse box covers. The video also shows the exact location of the two fuse boxes: the first, for the passenger compartment, is located beneath the steering column, under the relevant plastics, while the second, for the engine bay, is positioned next to the battery.
