In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to install the latest generation LED bulbs in a Volkswagen Golf by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to buy the latest generation LED bulbs. Get into the car, turn off the car and apply the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate rod. Let's start with the left lighthouse, which will be more difficult for beginners to perform, as there is little room to work. Without disassembling the headlight, we have to reach in and rotate the closing cap (an eighth of a turn), to remove the cap. Check the cap gasket and replace it if necessary. Remove the H7 halogen bulb, then pull to remove it from the bracket; replace the old bulb with the latest generation LED; (check that the led bulb is inserted correctly in the bracket, with the right polarity, otherwise it will not light up). Reassemble everything by proceeding backwards. Do the same job on the other side.
