Replacing the Key Battery for the Volkswagen Tiguan

If you need to replace the remote key battery on this vehicle, follow the simple instructions provided here and check the video as well. First, open the flip key and use your fingers to pry off the rear cover of the key. Underneath, you will find the battery compartment; use a pointed object to pry it out. Take the new CR 2025 battery and place it in the compartment with the positive terminal facing upwards, then close the rear cover of the remote.
