Instructions for Replacing the EGR Valve

The EGR valve functions to introduce some exhaust gases into the intake to reduce emissions: constant contact with exhaust gases leads to clogging over time and often results in damage; to replace it, start by removing the plastic panel above the engine, disconnect the connector from the actuator and the vacuum hose; then unscrew the fastening nuts of the duct that connects it to the intake, and to remove it, you also need to free the other flange of the duct on the intake side and the mounting bracket; at this point, you can remove the valve and the related gaskets and proceed in reverse for the installation of the new or refurbished one.
