Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf 5, MK 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Hydraulic pistons
Operation: How to replace the bonnet piston on the Volkswagen Golf 5

To replace the gas piston of the Volkswagen Golf 5, let's start by opening the bonnet and holding it up with the help of a stick as the piston no longer holds; with the help of a small flathead screwdriver, insert it into the small slot at the top behind the piston hook where, if we leverage, the tab that holds it in the upper part comes out, and we perform the same operation for the lower tab of the piston and doing a little force we pull the piston first from above and then from below. Now we take the new piston, remove it from the package, extract the tabs (without removing them if possible), insert it in place of the old one first from the bottom and then from the top, hook it up and insert the tabs both at the top and at the bottom to keep it stopped. Finally we can remove the stick and check if the hood remains open.

How to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?

Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal.
