Replacing the Handle and Lock of the Volkswagen Golf Tailgate

Today, we will go through the step-by-step instructions to remove and replace the handle and lock of the tailgate of the Volkswagen Golf, in simple steps. First, open the boot and start removing the inner panel by unscrewing all the fixing screws (using a cross screwdriver); then disconnect the electrical connector of the lock and unscrew the fixing screws using a Torx screwdriver to remove it and replace it with the new one, as shown in the video. Then install the new lock and handle, refitting the plastic panel!
