Here are step-by-step instructions to remove and replace the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Golf. First, get in the car and start unscrewing the fixing screws located at the top of the instrument cluster and on the dashboard; use a cross-head screwdriver, as shown in the video. Now remove the dashboard panel and then the instrument cluster, disconnecting the electrical wiring at the back; refit the instrument cluster and finally the dashboard, applying the reverse procedure!
