Removing the External Wing Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 6 - Years 1998-2005

To remove the external wing mirror, first detach the door panel: remove the handle cover to access the screws underneath; also unscrew the screws located under the bottom edge of the panel and release the clips; to complete the removal, disconnect the lock cable and the connectors for the window lifter and mirror adjustment; once the panel is removed, take off the triangular plastic cover located directly in front of the mirror and unscrew the corresponding fixing pins.
