Locating the Fuse Boxes on the Volkswagen Passat

The Volkswagen Passat B8 has two fuse boxes. One is located in the cabin, under the dashboard on the driver's side, behind the driver's glove compartment. In this compartment, you will also find the cigarette lighter fuse (which is also an electrical socket), which is number #F40, rated at 20 Amperes. This box also contains relays, and other fuses are located in the support of the box itself. The other box is located in the engine bay and is covered by a protective cover. It consists of two sections: one section for communication with fuses and relays, and one section for high-power fuses.
