In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove the glove compartment in a Volkswagen Passat, a very simple and quick operation to perform, for example, to replace the cabin filter. First, position yourself on the passenger side, then open the glove box, empty it, and unscrew all the screws along the inner perimeter using a Torx T20 key. Next, insert the appropriate key into the respective slots of the CD player, pull it out of its housing, and disconnect the rear connector. At this point, you can remove the glove box from the dashboard and install any replacement part.
