Which fuse is for the cigarette lighter socket in the Volkswagen Passat?

If the cigarette lighter socket in your Volkswagen Passat has suddenly stopped working, first check the status of the corresponding fuse, which is located as shown in this video. The fuse in question is found in the box located inside the cabin, specifically behind the left side panel of the dashboard on the driver's side. It is a 20A fuse and is the second from the last row. If faulty, ensure you replace it with a spare of equivalent specifications and always work with the vehicle turned off to avoid any damage.
