In this tutorial, see how to replace the electric window regulator motor in a Volkswagen Golf, a very simple operation. First, remove the door panel. Start by prising off the front cover of the handle, then undo the two screws beneath it with a star screwdriver. Next, remove the two lower screws using a Torx T30 socket, grasp the panel from the bottom and unclip it. At this point, disconnect each internal connector and remove the motor by undoing the 3 fixing screws. To fit the replacement, follow the reverse procedure.
