Operation: How to replace the front window regulator on the Volkswagen Golf?

In order to replace the front window lifter of the Volkswagen Golf 5 you need to open the door and loosen the screws that secure the external panel on its side, also removing the door lock and the external handle. Once the panel has been removed, it will be possible to access the underlying components and consequently loosen the screws that secure the window mechanism. This can then be removed together with the relative side glass and both can be replaced with new spare parts. After replacement, all removed parts can be mounted.
