To replace the rear headlamp bulb on a Volkswagen Touareg, open the tailgate to access the screws fixing the rear lamp to its housing: once the screws are loosened, the lamp can be pulled out from inside its housing by disconnecting the internal connectors. After the connectors are disconnected, you can remove the bulb from the light assembly; this way, you can insert the new one, reconnect the lamp to the connectors, and secure it with the screws.
