Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

This guide explains how to remove and replace the internal handle cable of the Volkswagen Golf, GTI version. First, open the front door of your car and start removing the plastic covers on the door panel; then unscrew all the fixing screws found underneath and in the holes, as shown in the video. At this point, unclip and remove the door panel by disconnecting the handle cable; then remove the side lock by unscrewing the screws and take out the old broken cable, installing the new one!
