Learn how to easily remove the external handle of a Volkswagen Golf VI. Access the thickness of the door to reach the internal screw that secures the lock. Use a cross-head screwdriver to do this. Once the screw is released, the lock cylinder will also come out easily. Be careful not to drop the screw inside the door, or you won't be able to retrieve it. Replacement cylinders vary significantly in price depending on the e-commerce site. Prices start from £13.90 on AliExpress and can go up to £56.00 on eBay. Once the cylinder is removed, the handle will disengage automatically.
