In this very short video tutorial, see how to activate and deactivate the handbrake, which replaces the handbrake lever, on a seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf, produced from 2012 to 2019. Activating and/or deactivating the handbrake is a very simple operation to perform; you just need to pull the lever with the "P" symbol located on the central tunnel of the vehicle to activate the brake, an operation confirmed by the warning light indicating the brake is active. To deactivate it, press the same lever downwards.
