In this short video tutorial, we will see how to replace the glow plugs of a Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI, model produced from 2005 to 2010. Let's start by opening the hood and releasing the glow plug cables from the plastic fasteners. Then, we remove the coil packs from the glow plugs and clean their housing. Now, with the engine still warm, we proceed to unscrew the glow plugs one by one using a socket wrench with a 10mm extension. We unscrew them carefully to avoid breaking them, also using some lubricating spray. Finally, we remove the old glow plugs and replace them with the new ones following the reverse procedure.
