How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Polo

To reset the service light on the Volkswagen Polo, start by turning on the instrument cluster without starting the engine, press the button on the left (below the rev counter with the symbol of the cards) four times until the total mileage flashes, and hold down the 'set' button (below the speedometer) to display the total mileage. With the 'set' button pressed, turn off the instrument cluster, then release the 'set' button; now press and hold the 'set' button again, simultaneously turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine until the spanner symbol appears, then release the 'set' button and finally press the button on the left with the 'cards' symbol.
