How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017
Part: Service warning light

Start by sitting in the driver's seat of your Volkswagen Polo. Next, press and hold the "0.0/SET" button located below the multifunction display of the instrument panel. While holding the button, insert and turn the vehicle key in the ignition switch. Once done, continue to hold the button until the "Service" light disappears from the instrument panel. When the "Service" light on your Volkswagen Polo disappears from the instrument panel, you can release the button, and you will have completed the reset.
