Resetting the service light on a Volkswagen Polo, model 6R, is very straightforward. First, with the ignition off, press the SET button located to the right of the speedometer for a few seconds. Next, wait for all the warning lights on the dashboard to flash, then press the button next to the one you pressed earlier. Finally, wait for the warning lights on the dashboard to turn off and turn on the ignition to check that the reset has occurred.
