Today, we will explain how to reset the service light for maintenance on a 2001 Volkswagen Polo. Before resetting the light, it is necessary to change the engine oil and oil filter, the air filter, and top up the various fluids, as well as check the brakes and the belt.

To reset the service light, first turn on the instrument panel and press the button located on the rev counter.

Release the button and turn off the panel. Immediately after, press and hold the same button, wait a few seconds, and then turn off and turn on the instrument panel to confirm the reset of the light.
